I had such a lovely time photographing at Salt Fire, & Time. Tressa is such a grounded person, who owns her kitchen.I lived  on a farm when I was pregnant with Maya. Knowing where my food came from, gave me a whole different relationship with what I put into my body. I felt amazing nourishing myself with whole foods, and lots of vegetables. I  always feel better with some  good yummy salads!

She has homemade Mayonaise, Summer Kraut, and Granola to name a few. She also does nutrition classes for Maternity through early childhood. How powerful food can be for a agent of health and well being. When my daughter and I are eating well, we feel great. This neighborhood space is why I love Portland. Passionate artisans doing what they love, simply and thoughtfully. I really appreciate her business. Check out her website!

I can't imagine not having photos of my daughter while she is growing up. Countless times people have told me they grow up so fast, Maya is now 11 and I don't know how she got so big.
