What is more magical than a newborn? I love the way they observe everything around them. The open vulnerability, that is so about love and trust. This is the way we come into the world. Their faces present with the moment, able to take in the environment.

The best thing about photographing this stage of life is the amount of allowing, that the child has. They are pretty much at peace. They can lead into the camera, because they are not withholding any part of themselves. This creates such an amazing connection.

This time passes so quickly, and they go through such changes that the time, is very intense for families, and can be lost in the keeping up with the huge commitment this is. The three to four month age, is a great time for a studio photography session. Jennifer Murdock Photography, offers a home visit, when the little ones are two to three weeks old. This is a great way to capture, the time where their feet, hands and bellies are so precious. A small photo album with black and white close-ups of these parts, is brillant.

Baby photography is a special choice. I will take my time, we can cuddle your baby in a soft black blanket, that will highlight your child's soft beautiful skin. The light will make everything glow.
